Anticipation of the start of my student teaching

In exactly one month from now, I will be attending my first professional development day in my teaching career. I am anxious, nervous and excited. Hoping, so hoping that I will do a good job. I still await the news of my final placement. I know the district, but not the specific, grade or teacher. I had hoped to know sooner so that I could prepare myself by becoming very familiar with the GLCES for the grade level. I hope I have a chance to meet my cooperating teacher before the start of my student teaching so that I can get an idea of her teaching style and personality.
